3SUN at Key - The Energy Transition 2025: our modules, between Energy’s present and future
The 18th edition of Key The Energy Transition - the event focused on the sector’s news, held between 5 and 7 March - has come to an end, after reuniting some of the leading renewable energy players.
Innovation, technology and an eye onto the future. From 5 to 7 March, the Key - The Energy Transition event, organized by the Italian Exhibition Group, took place in Rimini. And 3SUN could not miss this opportunity. At our stand, we showcased the B60 module range.
This year’s edition has been dubbed as “the greatest Key Energy ever”. The annual event gathering the main European players brought over 1000 exhibitors to Rimini, with a 20% increase in attendance, compared to the 2024 edition. And this was also the most international edition ever, with 350 hosted buyers and delegations from 50 different Countries. What’s more, Key Energy provided a chance for comparison, with 160 events promoting the exchange of ideas and interactions between experts, companies and institutions.
Key - The Energy Transition and 3SUN, the energy transition begins with the B60 modules
For the second year in a row, Key -The Energy Transition was the perfect occasion to talk about how we are actively taking part in the energy transition, after kick-starting our production of high-efficiency made-in-Europe photovoltaic panels and modules in 2024. The star of our stand was the B60 range, which encompasses our decade-long experience in the development of cutting-edge products.
B60 products have been registered in ENEA’s (National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Development) Photovoltaic Module Register, therefore they can access tax credit, according to the Italian Government’s Transition 5.0 Plan - one of the main measures contained in the NRRP to support Italian companies’ toward more efficient production processes, based on renewable and environmentally-sustainable energy.
Discussing about a global energy transition
During the event, many stakeholders, local administrators and authorities came to visit our stand. Starting with the Ministry for the Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, on 5 March, who observed the results of our entire production process, from solar cells to HJT modules.
ENEA - the National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development - also paid us a visit.
One of the stakeholders we met at Key Energy was the RES4AFRICA delegation, a foundation that drives initiatives to support the energy transition in Africa, such as training courses for new professionals in this sector. They were especially interested in our products, as they represent an important resource in their mission as energy evolution facilitators in the African continent.
On 7 March, during the last day at Key Energy, 3SUN took part in the conference “Italian Investments in Net Zero Value Chains”, by H2IT - the Italian Hydrogen Association - ANIE - a federation representing Italian electronic and electro-technical companies - Italia Solare - the only Italian association focused only on photovoltaic technologies and smart energy management technological integrations - and ANEV - the Italian Wind Energy Association. Representing our company was Michele Porri, Head of Marketing & Business Development, who talked about current field developments.
A network for tomorrow’s energy
Together with our partner distributors, we had the chance to promote our B60LE panel at their stands, with expo corners, distribution of promotional material, and speeches focused on transition 5.0.
A new step toward the present and future of photovoltaics
By participating in Key -The Energy Transition 2025, we confirmed once again 3SUN’s role as one of the protagonists of the energy transition. This event helped us to strengthen strategic relationships, explore new opportunities to collaborate, and reiterate our commitment to produce innovative, sustainable and made-in-Europe photovoltaic modules.
